Refund, Return, and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 25 May 2026

AuctionBargain is an auction marketplace only and is not the seller of the goods unless a listing expressly states otherwise. Goods are sold by third-party sellers, and AuctionBargain does not directly ship those goods. By registering for an account, users agree that bids are legally binding contracts and that completed auction purchases are final. AuctionBargain does not provide change-of-mind refunds on completed auction purchases.

No Change-of-Mind Refunds

Because auction purchases are made through competitive bidding — where each bid is a legally binding offer — AuctionBargain does not offer change-of-mind refunds, cooling-off cancellations, or "I changed my mind" returns. By registering, you agreed that bids are binding and that auction purchases are final. Please consider each bid carefully before placing it.

Narrow Refund Exceptions

While auction purchases are final, AuctionBargain may consider a refund or reversal in the following limited circumstances:

  1. Duplicate payment: Where you were charged more than once for the same auction purchase.
  2. Proven fraud or unauthorised payment: Where an unauthorised third party gained access to your account or payment method and made purchases without your consent.
  3. Seller non-fulfilment: Where the seller cannot or will not deliver the item as described in the listing.
  4. Materially incorrect listing: Where the auction or listing was materially incorrect due to a platform or seller error, and the item you received is materially different from what was described.
  5. Payment-provider or legal requirement: Where a refund or reversal is required by applicable law, card-network rules, PayPal Buyer Protection, Apple Pay or Google Pay terms, payment-provider rules, or another binding requirement.

Refund Method and Timing

Approved refund exceptions will normally be returned to the original payment method where possible, unless another method is required by law or payment-provider rules.

AuctionBargain aims to submit approved refund exceptions within 10 business days. However, your bank, card issuer, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or payment provider may take additional time to process the refund and show the funds in your account.

Non-Refundable Fees

Buyer premiums, platform fees, processing fees, and auction fees are non-refundable except where required by law, payment-provider rules, or where AuctionBargain caused a duplicate or incorrect charge.

Third-Party Seller Returns

Third-party sellers may have their own return, exchange, warranty, or refund arrangements. These are between you and the seller and are not managed directly by AuctionBargain unless a listing expressly states otherwise. Seller refund, return, or warranty issues should be raised through AuctionBargain support, which will coordinate with the seller using the internal seller information attached to the item.

How to Request a Refund or Raise a Dispute

To request support, email [email protected] with your order number, auction or listing ID, a clear description of the issue, relevant photos or evidence, and any communication you have had with the seller. AuctionBargain will review your request, contact the seller where appropriate, and respond within 2 business days.

Your Payment Provider Rights

Nothing in this policy prevents you from contacting your bank, card issuer, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or payment provider if you believe an unauthorised or incorrect charge has occurred. We encourage you to contact AuctionBargain support first so that we can investigate and resolve your issue quickly. You retain all rights available to you under applicable law and your payment provider's terms.
