Payment Data Handling

AuctionBargain's website and related mobile apps do not store customer card numbers, CVV/CVC codes, bank account login credentials, Apple Pay payment credentials, Google Pay payment credentials, PayPal passwords, or other sensitive payment authentication details.

Payments are handled by approved third-party payment providers, payment gateways, hosted checkout pages, tokenised payment elements, and mobile payment SDKs. These providers may process your payment data under their own terms and privacy policies.

AuctionBargain may store limited non-sensitive payment and transaction metadata needed for order records, reconciliation, support, fraud prevention, accounting, and compliance. This includes transaction IDs, payment status, processor references, payment method type, card brand, last four digits where supplied, timestamps, and refund records.

Fraud and security providers: To screen transactions and protect the platform from fraudulent activity.

Hosting and infrastructure providers: To operate and maintain the AuctionBargain platform.

Legal and regulatory authorities: Where required by law, court order, or regulatory obligation.

Data Retention

AuctionBargain retains customer, seller, account, auction, bid, order, support, and payment metadata records for as long as reasonably required for auctions, orders, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, legal compliance, disputes, and business recordkeeping, generally up to 7 years where required or appropriate. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, restrict or object to processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise these rights, email [email protected] with your request. We will review and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
