Third-Party Seller Policy
Last updated: 25 May 2026
AuctionBargain is an online auction marketplace. Unless a listing expressly states otherwise, goods listed on AuctionBargain are sold by third-party sellers, not by AuctionBargain itself. This policy explains the responsibilities of third-party sellers on our platform and what buyers can expect.
Marketplace Role
AuctionBargain provides the marketplace platform, listing display, bid management, payment processing, and support coordination. Third-party sellers are the sellers of the goods and are independently responsible for their items, listings, and fulfilment unless a listing expressly states otherwise.
Seller Responsibilities
Provide accurate and complete listing descriptions, including item condition, model numbers, included accessories, known defects, and clear, representative photos.
Have the legal right to sell every item they list. Sellers must not list stolen, counterfeit, illegal, unsafe, recalled, or restricted items.
Set clear fulfilment terms on each listing — including whether the item is shipped, requires collection, or uses another fulfilment method — and provide realistic delivery timeframes.
Package items appropriately, dispatch on time, coordinate with couriers, and provide tracking information where available.
Respond to buyer questions and support requests in a timely manner.
Honour any refund, return, warranty, or exchange terms they agree to through support or publish on a listing.
Comply with all applicable consumer protection, product safety, export/import, tax, and advertising laws.
Seller Verification
Before listing items or receiving payouts, third-party sellers must provide identity, business, contact, payment, and item ownership/right-to-sell information as required by AuctionBargain. Seller details are attached internally to every item for support, disputes, accounting, compliance, and lawful requests. Full seller details are not displayed publicly on listings unless required by law.
Seller Payouts
AuctionBargain may delay, hold, offset, or withhold seller payouts where needed for disputes, refunds, chargebacks, suspected fraud, legal compliance, seller debt to AuctionBargain, policy breaches, or payment-provider requirements. Sellers will be notified of any payout holds where permitted by applicable law.
Prohibited Seller Conduct
Listing counterfeit, illegal, unsafe, stolen, restricted, recalled, or prohibited items
Shill bidding, bid manipulation, or artificially inflating auction prices
Failing to fulfil a completed auction sale
Providing materially false or misleading listing information
Abusive communication with buyers or AuctionBargain staff
Attempting to circumvent AuctionBargain fees, payment processing, or platform policies
Violating any applicable law or regulation
AuctionBargain Rights
AuctionBargain may remove listings, suspend seller accounts, withhold payouts, or cancel transactions where policy violations, fraud, or legal issues are suspected. AuctionBargain may request additional seller information at any time to verify identity, business details, item ownership, or compliance with applicable laws. Sellers who repeatedly violate policies may be permanently banned from the platform.
Seller Support
Sellers should contact AuctionBargain support at [email protected] for account, listing, payout, dispute, or compliance questions. Sellers must respond to support requests and fulfil orders on time to maintain good standing on the platform.
