Prohibited and Restricted Items Policy

AuctionBargain is committed to maintaining a safe, legal, and compliant marketplace. The following categories of items are prohibited or restricted on our platform. This policy applies to all sellers and is enforced to comply with legal requirements, payment-provider policies, and community safety standards.

Prohibited Items

Illegal goods or services of any kind

Counterfeit goods, replica products, or items that infringe intellectual property rights (trademarks, copyrights, patents)

Stolen goods or items where the seller cannot demonstrate legal ownership or right to sell

Weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives, or regulated weapons (unless the seller has explicit lawful approval and specific payment-provider approval from AuctionBargain)

Drugs, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, illegal supplements, or substances regulated as narcotics

Tobacco, nicotine products, vape products, e-cigarettes, and related accessories

Adult sexual products, services, or explicit content (unless explicitly approved by payment providers and legally permitted)

Gambling products, lottery tickets, betting systems, or games of chance (unless explicitly approved by payment providers and legally permitted)

Financial products, cryptocurrency, stored value cards, gift cards, money transmission services, or investment products (unless approved by AuctionBargain)

Medical products, prescription drugs, unsafe products, recalled products, or regulated healthcare items (unless approved by AuctionBargain)

Live animals, endangered species products, protected wildlife goods, ivory, or environmental contraband

Hate speech, extremist content, or items that promote violence or discrimination

Products that violate export/import controls or trade sanctions

Any items prohibited by AuctionBargain's active payment providers (including Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay restricted categories)

Age-Restricted Products

Age-restricted products — including but not limited to alcohol, tobacco, vaping products, weapons, adult content, and gambling-related items — are not allowed on AuctionBargain unless separately approved by AuctionBargain, legally permitted in both the seller's and buyer's jurisdictions, and approved by the relevant payment providers. AuctionBargain users must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in their country, whichever is higher).

Restricted Categories Requiring Approval

Certain product categories may be permitted on AuctionBargain only with prior written approval. These include, but are not limited to: event tickets, food and consumable products, cosmetic and personal care items, electronics subject to safety certification, and automotive parts subject to safety standards. Sellers in these categories must contact AuctionBargain before listing.

Intellectual Property

Sellers must only list items they have the legal right to sell. This means you must own the item or be authorised by the rights holder. Counterfeit items, unauthorised replicas, and items that infringe trademarks, copyrights, patents, or design rights are strictly prohibited. AuctionBargain responds to valid intellectual property complaints in accordance with applicable law.

Reporting Prohibited Items

If you see a listing on AuctionBargain that you believe violates this policy, please report it immediately to [email protected] with the listing ID and the reason you believe it is prohibited. AuctionBargain will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include removing the listing and suspending the seller's account.

Enforcement

AuctionBargain reserves the right to remove any listing, suspend any seller account, withhold payouts, and report violations to law enforcement or regulatory authorities. Sellers are responsible for ensuring their listings comply with this policy and all applicable laws.
